Dalia Grybauskaite to become President of Lithuania for second consecutive term

Dalia GrybauskaiteLithuania’s incumbent President Dalia Grybauskaite (58) has been declared the winner in the country’s run-off Presidential elections. She got 58% votes whereas her Social Democrat rival Zigmantas Balcytis only 42% votes. The election was held amid rising concerns in the region after Russia’s annexation of Crimea from Ukraine.
