Journalist Dr. Prannoy Roy awarded RedInk Lifetime Achievement Award 2015

Journalist Dr. Prannoy Roy, the executive co-chairman of NDTV, was conferred the RedInk Award for lifetime achievement.

  • Sreenivasan Jain of NDTV was presented ‘Journalist of the Year’ award.
  • Arnab Goswami of Times Now, was honoured with ‘Impact Editor of the Year’ award.
  • News website Scroll.in was given ‘the news start-up of the year’ award.

Apart from them, 24 other journalists were honoured with awards which were presented in the different categories including crime, politics, courts, health, environment and science.

The awards were presented by the Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu at a function held in Mumbai.

About RedInk Lifetime Achievement Award

  • The Award was instituted Mumbai Press Club (MPC) in in 2010.
  • It seeks to encourage good, ethical journalism that impacts people and society.
  • The award comprises a trophy and a citation.
