‘Color-Coded Mutual Funds’: SEBI to introduce color-coded Mutual Fund products

SEBI is planning to introduce color-coded Mutual Fund  (MF) products which will inform investors about the level of risk involved with the instrument.

As per SEBI, healthy business models, better distribution networks and enhanced investor awareness about mutual funds could prompt a sustainable growth path for the industry, which now controls an asset under management of Rs 7.5 lakh crore. The share of retail investors is 97% of the 45 million folios.
