The bill includes slashes in defense expenditure that the president and congressional Republicans accorded to in August 2011, along with the end of the war in Iraq and the reduction of American forces in Afghanistan.
The retired US General Norman Schwarzkopf who led the U.S. Forces for a victory in the first Gulf War in Operation Desert Strom in 1991 died.
