E-judiciary services begins in Nepal
Nepal’s Supreme Court (SC) has started e-judiciary services aiming to provide better court services and to ensure easy access to justice.
In this regard, SC has developed three software’s to realize the goals of e-judiciary. The apex court will send SMS to its clients for three main services – registration of a case, final hearing date and status of the case at the bench.
It will be implemented in phases- in first phase it will cover 40 courts and in second phase will cover other remaing 50 courts of Nepal. Introduction of the new system will help court to save time and deliver justice fast.
