‘Hamara Ghar Hamara Vidyalaya’ campaign in Madhya Pradesh from 6th July
To take care of the academic regularity of the school students in the state, the School Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has prepared a digital campaign named ‘Hamara Ghar Hamara Vidyalaya’ meaning My Home My School for providing a school-like environment to the students of classes 1 to 8 in the state during the corona crisis. The campaign will begin on 6th July 2020.
For the success of the campaign, the Department has urged family members to provide a proper place in the house to the children where they can study without any disturbances. Support of the family members is important for the success of the campaign. A timetable has been prepared by the Department for the family members and the students to follow under the campaign.
As per the timetable, there will be 4 classes of 1 hour each from Monday to Friday. Timing will be from 10 am to 1 pm. On Saturday classes related to extracurricular activities such as yoga, listening to stories etc will be conducted.
COVID-19 in Madhya Pradesh
The recovery rate in Madhya Pradesh is 76.9 percent as of 28th June 2020. This is significantly higher than the national recovery rate that is 58.1 percent. As of 1st July 2020, Madhya Pradesh has a total of 13,861 COVID-19 positive cases out of which 10,655 have recovered. The number of Active cases as of 1st July is 2,625.
3,65,467 is the total number of COVID-19 tests conducted in Madhya Pradesh as on 30th June 2020.
