MoU inked b/w India and Vietnam to bolster MSMEs
India and Vietnam inked an MoU targeted at building capacity for developing institutional framework and identifying key areas and opportunities for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India.
It also seeks to promote partnership projects and institutional collaboration b/w the two nations, organising exhibitions and trade fairs for marketing the products of MSMEs, exchange of business missions to begin transfer of technology and business alliance, and providing training for improvement of managerial and technical skills for MSMEs. The agreement is part of efforts towards enhancing bilateral economic cooperation. Both nations have set a trade and investment target of $7 billion by 2015.
