Eight Indian beaches recommended for Blue Flag international eco-label

Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said on September 19, 2020 that eight beaches of the country have been recommended for the ‘Blue Flag’ international eco-label. 12 Indian beaches in race to top Blue Flag Challenge

Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has selected 12 beaches across the country to compete for Blue Flag Certification.
